I will dominate 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
